CBP has deployed facial recognition biometric technology at Washington Dulles International Airport for one daily flight from the United States to Dubai and Boston Logan International Airport to Queen Beatrix International Airport in Aruba. Using this technology, CBP will build flight-specific photo galleries from travel documents to compare against live photos captured during boarding to ensure that they match the passport or document holder. CBP also said that future deployments of the technology are planned for additional airports this summer.
