USCIS Updates Website: F2A Applicants May Use the Final Action Dates Chart for July 2019

F2A Applicants may file I-130 and I-485 and related forms and fees in July 2019.

Initially, USCIS indicated on its website that for July 2019, all family-sponsored applicants seeking adjustment of status (AOS) must use the Dates for Filing chart (Chart B) of the July 2019 Visa Bulletin. This information caused confusion among applicants regarding whether or not they could file an AOS application for all F2A visa applicants in July 2019, based on Chart A, given that the DOS has indicated in the July 2019 Visa Bulletin that immigrant visas in the F2A preference category will become current in July 2019 for all countries.

USCIS updated their adjustment of status page on June 26, 2019 to show that the Final Action Date Chart may be used for F2A Applicants in July, 2019.
