USCIS Announces No Premium Processing for H1B Regular Cap and US Master’s Cap filings

USCIS announced on March 6, Conference call USCIS is temporarily suspending premium processing for all H-1B cap petitions starting April 2, 2018, until further notice. This applies to all petitions filed for the FY19 H-1B Regular Cap and Master's Advanced Degree Cap exemption ("Master's Cap").

While H-1B premium processing is suspended, petitioners may file Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service for a Form I-129, for H-1B Cap Subject Petitions. While premium processing is suspended, USCIS will still accept the Form I-907 filed with an H-1B petition. The petitioner should submit a separate check for the Form I-907 fee. As a combined check for both the Form I-907 and Form I-129 H-1B fees, USCIS will reject both forms.

We do not recommend filing H-1B Premium Processing with the initial H-1B Cap Petition.
